Thea Lafond Wins Dominica’s 1st EVER Medal At The Commonwealth Games

Congratulations to Thea Lafond, the winner of Dominica’s first ever medal at the Commonwealth Games. Lafond won bronze in theWomen’s Triple Jump earlier today with a jump of 13.92 at the 2018 Gold Cast Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Jamaica’s Kimberly Williams and Shanieka Ricketts secured gold and silver with jumps of 14.64 and 14.52 respectively. Congratulations once again to Thea Lafond on making history.
