The stage is set for the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League Final as two clubs booked their spot earlier this week.

Defending champions Real Madrid will face English giants Liverpool FC in the grand final scheduled for Saturday, May 26th at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv, Ukraine. Liverpool secured their spot after defeating AS Roma 7-6 on Aggregate while Madrid defeated Bayern Munich for the 4th time in a row in the UEFA Champions League 4-3 on aggregate.

Real Madrid will be looking to make history again after recently becoming the first club to ever win 2 consecutive UEFA Champions League titles last year. A victory this year would make them 3 time champions. Although they are considered favourites, Liverpool should never be underestimated as they are the first team to ever score 46 goals in a single European campaign with African Player Of The Year Mohammed Salah leading the charge. Hopefully, both teams can deliver an entertaining final in Kyiv on May 26th, 2018.

The last time Real Madrid lost a European Final it was 1981, 1-0 to Liverpool FC.
