It’s the result of hard work, discipline, and countless sacrifices by these athletes and their families which allowed them to showcase exceptional performances in the 2018 Secondary School’s Under-15 Cricket Championships.

Unfortunately, Yawani Regis and Ashwan Lockhart, won’t be participating in the final as the Pierre Charles Secondary School lost their semi-final match to Neo Davis and the North East Comprehensive, and the Isaiah Thomas Secondary knocked out Stephan Pascal and the St. Mary’s Academy who were considered favourites in that semi-final.

Pascal, Davis, Lockhart, and Regis registered several centuries throughout the 2018 Secondary Schools U-15 Cricket Championship and have also been called up for training as Dominica prepares to participate in the 2018 Sir Garfield Sobers International U-19 Schools Cricket Tournament to be held in Barbados.

These players also represented the Windward Islands and although it’s still early to tell how far these athletes will take their skills, we hope that they continue to receive support from their peers, parents, the respective organizations, and fellow Dominican athletes.

The Secondary Schools Under 15 Cricket Championship will be decided on Friday, May 4th at the Windsor Park Stadium. The finalists are the Isaiah Thomas Secondary and the North East Comprehensive. Both semi-final matches were badly affected by rain and saw late afternoon starts to both matches.

Match time for Friday’s final is 10 am. Come Support the under 15 cricketers.
