The champs from the north crushed rivals St. Mary’s Primary in the grand final of the 2018 Primary School Football Championship after being up 3-1 at the half. RDPS went on to win 7-1 in what was described as an exciting match in front of a very supportive crowd.
The boys from the north defeated the St. Mary’s Primary 7 goals to 1 in an exciting final today at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium. The match, which was viewed by a large and appreciative crowd with support for both schools, produced action from start to finish and kept the large crowd at the stadium on their toes.

Both teams booked their spot in the final after the Roosevelt Douglas Primary School won its semi-final match against the Atkinson/LightHouse Combined Team 8-1 and the St. Mary’s Primary advanced on penalties defeating the Calibishie Primary School 3-2 after being drawn 2-2 at full time. Congratulations to all the participating schools including the Atkinson/Lighthouse Academy who captured third place after defeating Calibishie Primary 3-2 on penalty kicks.
