Dominica ended the tournament with (4) points to finish ahead of rivals, St. Vincent & the Grenadines after crushing them 3-0 in their final group stage match.

Sari Finn opened the scoring for Dominica in the 50th minute, while Michlyn Morgan and Kasika Samuel secured the win by making it 3-0 to Dominica.

Dominica started the tournament with a narrow 1 nil loss to hosts St. Kitts after video evidence revealed what seemed to be a controversial offside goal giving St. Kitts the win. Despite that loss, Dominica kept pushing for the win in their second match but could only manage a goalless draw versus St. Lucia, who went on to top the group with (7) points after a 1-0 victory over St. Kitts who finished 2nd with (6) points. The 2018 (CFU) Caribbean Football Union Women’s Challenge Series was held in St Kitts from April 18th-22th, 2018.

Overall, our girls put up a good fight and we are beyond proud of their performance. Congratulations to the whole team and technical staff of the Dominica Football Association for a solid representation of our beloved country. We will surely bounce back.
