The Dominica Men’s Senior National Team are preparing for their first competitive match in 9 months as they face
Antigua in a friendly match ahead of the 2018 Windward Islands Football Tournament scheduled to begin this summer in St. Vincent. The boys have improved on their performances in recent times with a much younger squad and a new head coach determined to change the style of play and mentality of our national players.
Ahead of this friendly, the Nature Boys will be left without striker Julian Wade as he is currently nursing minor leg injuries as he was also deemed unfit to play in his club’s most recent match where they lost 1-0 to La Gauloise. Despite his struggles, it is rumored that he will be fit to play ahead of the 2018 Windward Islands Tournament where he’ll surely be hungry for goals.
Dominica is expected to face Antigua on Sunday, April 1st in Antigua but the situation will be monitored and full details will be released once available. We wish Mr. Wade a speedy recovery and anticipate positive results from the upcoming friendly, as well as the 2018 Windward Islands Football Tournament.
