Can Madrid Do It Again?

The quarter-final draw of the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League was held yesterday March 16th, and by the looks of it, the fans won’t be disappointed. Madrid is the only club that has successfully won 2 consecutive UEFA Champions League titles. They also top the charts for total titles won with (12) including the last two won in 2016 & 2017 under manager, and former player, Zinédine Zidane. The boys from Spain will face Italian giants Juventus in the quarter-final; the same club they defeated 4-1 in Champions League final last year.

Barcelona (ESP) v Roma (ITA)

Sevilla (ESP) v Bayern (GER)

Juventus (ITA) v Real Madrid (ESP)

Liverpool (ENG) v Man. City (ENG)

The first legs are scheduled for April 3rd & 4th while the second legs are scheduled for April 10th & 11th.

Both Manchester City and Barcelona are tied at the top in team statistics for pass completion and possession with 90 and 62 percent respectively. Real Madrid leads way in team statistics for total attempts on goal with 159, and Liverpool tops the chart for goals scored with 28.
