The busy 2nd term for the Sports Division in terms of school-based activities will continue as another competition, namely, the 2017 Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships recently kicked off.
The competition targets both boys and girls and this year, nine boys and ten girls teams have registered to participate in the championships.
The traditional Ball-O-Rama, kicked off on Thursday, January 12th at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth and featured the Champion Houses of the various schools. The girls of ITSS and the boys of CBSS were winners of the Ball-O-Rama.
Championship matches will begin tomorrow, Monday, January 16th with six (6) matches as shown below:

In the 2016 Championships, the Dominica State College won the male category whilst the Castle Bruce Secondary School won the female category.
