2017 Secondary Schools Volleyball

Preparations for the 2nd round of the Volleyball World Cup Qualifiers carded for next April kicked off with an impressive start Saturday, September 17th. A meeting was held for 60 of the potential representatives at the FLOW compound to discuss training schedules, coaches expectations and player requirements.

The men’s team will be coached by long time trainer Jeffrey Edmund who is assisted by Erickson Leblanc who is fresh off a formal coach’s course in Europe. Coach Leblanc will also assist head coach Albert Loblack for the women. Designated training days will be Monday 6pm, Wednesday and Friday 5pm for the men, while the women will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm and 3pm on Saturdays.

Although the meeting was poorly attended, the coaches wasted no time in explaining and enforcing their no nonsense approach that will be utilized throughout the 6 months training process. Players are expected to attend and be on time for all training sessions which began on Monday, September 26th, 2016.

The next training session is scheduled for tomorrow at 5pm for the women and Friday at 5pm for the men.
