Dominica Finishes Without A Win

CFU Men’s U-17 Qualifiers i

The young men of Dominica failed to register a win in the CFU Men’s U-17 Qualifiers in St. Kitts & Nevis as they lost their third straight match in Group 1 today against Barbados after being up 2-1 at half time.

The boys had a rough start to the tournament where they lost 9-0 to Cuba. They later went on to play host country St. Kitts & Nevis in their second match where they suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat and today lost to Barbados 5-2. Vice captain, Kiano Martin and Randel Coipel were the goal scorers for Dominica in that match. Randel Coipel also scored the lone goal for Dominica in the match versus St. Kitts & Nevis.

The boys put on a fairly good performance throughout the last two matches but fell short of the victory. Despite not getting the results that we hoped for we should always remember to examine both the negatives and positives in other to learn and grow. Never give up the faith and remember a lot can change if we have the right mindset.
