This year Dominica will be participating in the Men’s CBC U-16 Championships in Guyana. Dominica has been placed into Group A together with the British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Barbados and Antigua & Barbuda. The tournaments (men’s & women’s) will open with a Group Phase where each team plays each other in its group. Then the top two teams from each group will move on to the Final Phase which consists of Semi-Finals, Bronze Medal Game and Gold Medal Game.

Ahead of this competition, the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association will be having two open trials later this month for interested athletes born on or after January 1st, 2000. The trial dates are May 13th & 14th 2016. May 13th in Goodwill @ 4:00 pm and May 14th in Portsmouth at 11:00 am.
