Climax of 2016 CARIFTA Games

Dominica was well represented by all 12 athletes at the 2016 CARIFTA Games in Grenada. The CARIFTA Games began on Saturday, March 26 and ended on Monday, March 28 2016. We would like to thank all participating athletes and officials for their contributions in this years event. Here are some results

Keyon Burton – 2nd place U18 Boys Javelin. Burton also set a new national record of 64.87

Josh Toussaint – 4th place U18 Boys Discuss

Ferreira Jabez – 6th place U20 Boys 5000m

Shanee Angol – 2nd place U20 Girls Javelin

Kihmo Benjamin – 6th place U20 Boys Shot Put

Camille Regy who competed in the U18 Boys Javelin could not advance to the finals due to injury. We are unaware of his present condition but we do wish him a speedy recovery.
