Dominican national Julian Wade, striker for Slingerz FC in Guyana will soon be on his way to another trial on US soil. Wade is expected to go on trial with the (NASL) North American Soccer League club Minnesota United FC from January 25th to February 1st.
” Minnesota United was awarded an expansion spot in (MLS) Major League Soccer on March 25th, 2015 and shortly thereafter announced its intention to build a state of the art soccer stadium in St. Paul at the center of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Construction of that stadium is expected to begin in summer of 2016 with United joining MLS in 2017 or 2018. ” as stated on the clubs website.
Wade has also been selected for training with the Dominica Mens Senior National Football Team. Dominica has been drawn in group seven with Martinique and the British Virgin Islands in the CFU Caribbean Cup from March 21th to 29th 2016.
