The DAVA has staged yet another succesful opening event yesterday Sunday March 13th at the Massacre Hard Courts.
Patrons at the very well attended event were treated to a day of exciting volleyball that went into the night. After a few short speeches awards were handed out to deserving winners of the 2014 and 2015 national leagues. Special awards were delivered to long serving coach and trainer of the National teams Jeffrey Edmund and friend to the DAVA, the Dominica Olympic Committee for their service and partnership to the Association. Then the action heated up first with the women’s division do or die volleyrama. Dbiz Acers emerged overall victors by defeating long time rivals FLOW Strikeforce. The men took the night to another level where Dbiz Young Vets met Flow Wolf Pac in a keenly contested finals. The Wolves pulled off an exciting victory to emerge Volleyrama champs.
