EAGLES SOAR!!! LIGHTNING STRIKE!!!

Congratulations going out to the Paix Bouche Eagles and the Possie Vibrations Lightnings for capturing the 2015/16 Foneshack Possie Basketball League senior and U-17 Title respectively.

Action began on Friday night at 7pm where we saw game 3 in the of the U-17 Championship. Heading into the game, teams were leveled 1-1 in the best of 5 game series. At the end of regulations it was the Possie Vibrations Lightning 53, Paix Bouche Snipers 46. For Snipers Monad Thomas 22 and Wayne Thomas and Shandell Matthew 8 points each were the main contributors. For Lightning, Dontee Xavier 22 and Lemar Irish 16 steered their team to victory. Lightning then lead the series 2-1.
In game 2, the Paix Bouche Eagles closed out the series, winning the 2015/16 Foneshack Possie Basketball League with a 3 game sweep over the Globe One Pacers in a close encounter. Final scores Eagles 65, Pacers 63. For Pacers, game high of 24 came from John James and 15 from Garvin Joseph was not enough as a team high 18 from Lynvor John and Lenin Paul 14 cemented their name to the championship trophy.

In the only game played on Sunday PV Lightning defeated the Paix Bouche Snipers in game 4, taking the series 3-1. At the end of regulations it was the Lightning 68, Snipers 62. For Snipers, Monad Thomas lead with 29 while Wayne Thomas contributed with 18. For the back to back Champs, Dontee Xavier lead all scores with 35 and Lemar Irish contributed 18.
