Season-Best For Dominica’s National Record Holder Andre Bazil

Dominica Olympic Committee – National javelin thrower Andre Bazil threw a season-best 65.81, but his efforts were not enough to secure a spot in the finals of the Men’s Javelin at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Bazil got off to a slow start and improved with each throw, but he was off the automatic qualifying mark of 78 meters.
He fouled on his first attempt, before throwing 58.84 on his second and then 65.81 on his third and final attempt.
Bazil finished 9th out of 12 throwers in his zone.
